Opening Event: Saturday, November 4, 2017 3 to 6pm. Exhibition continues through December 2017, by appointment.

Eligibility: Open to all artists in the Southern California region.

ViCA and partners Engel & Völkers representing the Newberry Lofts are seeking artwork for more than 7000 sq. ft. of exhibition space in several newly completed condominiums at the Newberry Lofts located on historic Pine Ave. in downtown Long Beach, CA. This art fair format is an incredible opportunity for both seasoned veterans and emerging talent in Southern California to exhibit and network with peers, showcase new work to clients and patrons. Artworks must be delivered, deinstalled and picked up by the artist or their representative. Installation dates shall be scheduled with selected artists and begin Monday October 23 through Wednesday, November 1.

Opening Event Saturday, November 4, 2017, 3 to 6pm.

Competitive opportunities include:
• 1 one-person show
• 6 multi-work or series opportunities
• 50+ individual artworks 
•  A catalog will be published by ViCA about this exhibition featuring an image of each selected artwork along with a short artist biography.

All work shall be for sale and 50% of proceeds go to the artist. Application fees shall support production of the show catalogue and opening event marketing to the public, collectors and patrons. You may submit up to 5 images or files of recent work and/or exhibition examples for consideration. All media accepted, including video and multi media installation.

Imagine the possibilities! Art in Place. will occupy more than 7000 sq. ft. of exhibition space in 5 empty condominiums on one floor in the newly renovated Newberry Lofts, 433 Pine Ave. Long Beach, CA. 90802. Ceiling height 12ft. the condos are approximately 1100 sq. ft. each studio style open floor plans, walls are white sheetrock, typical residential power.

Eligibility is open to all artists in the Southern California region. Artworks must be delivered and picked up by the artists or their representative. Artwork delivery and exhibition installation dates shall be scheduled with artists beginning Monday October 23 through Wednesday, November 1. Artists may enter up to 5 artworks or media submissions for a $20 application fee. Choose artwork you wish to be considered and/or exhibition examples. Include a publication ready biography. A two-page CV or Resume.
